Mogworld
I love this book! It's a very funny story, written by Yahtzee Croshaw, who also does a web series about video games, called Zero Punctuation. If you like his humour there, you'll like this book. There are lots of references to video games, which I loved. It is also a good fantasy story on its own.
The Time Traveler's Wife
The Time Traveler's Wife is a great book, it's a beautiful love story between Henry, who can accidentally time travel, and Clare, who has to live with that. Henry can't control when he time travels, so sometimes he just disappears into another period in time. The relationship is different for both of them, as they both meet each other for their first time in different periods of their life. It may sound a little confusing but the book explains it quite well how things work for both of them. It doesn't explain much science around Henry's time traveling, though I didn't miss this in this book. It makes you think how much you care about the people you love. I recommend this book to anyone who likes a good, different love story.
My Sister's Keeper: A Novel
This is the first book I read by Jodi Picoult. I'd heard a lot about it, and the book didn't disappoint. It has ethical dilemma (as many of her books have) in it, which is quite interesting to think about. The book in that sense definately gives food for thought. It's told from multiple characters (as with her other books), though I found some to be slightly more interesting than others. It's a great read if you like contemporary fiction. Her books also have a court theme running through it, there is a court case in the book (so if you really don't like this, don't read this book). The book is well written. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes contemporary fiction.
The Notebook
The Notebook is a beautiful, romantic love story. It makes you realise how precious the people you love, are (as good love stories do). The story follows Noah and Allie in their love for each other. It is not told chronologically. It's an easy to read story and not that long, that could be a plus to some people.
The Reality Dysfunction (The Night's Dawn)
I bought this book because I'd heard it's good. It didn't disappoint! It's a great story with lots of tension about what's going to happen. One of the things I really liked is how the author explains some of the science behind the science-fiction stuff / technology (such as the ships). What I liked less were the scenes with sex in them, but that's probably just me. It's not that descriptive or anything, one of the characters has intercourse with several people over the course of the book, and this is not something that I agree with, thus I couldn't feel for this character as much as for some of the other characters in the book. Overall though it's a great book, quite well written. It's an epic science-fiction story (this is part one of the trilogy, the story does not end in part one).

Confessions of a Shopaholic (Movie Tie-in Edition) (Shopaholic Series)
I picked this book up because I'd heard a lot about it, I wasn't sure if I'd like it though. But I did! It's well written and easy to read. I'm not very much into clothes shopping like Becky (the main character) is, but this didn't bother me so much. Becky (the main character) can be a little annoying sometimes, when you see her shopping going a bit far, but she's mostly very funny, bringing herself into situations that it's hard to see a way out of. It's a very entertaining book, I really enjoyed it.
The Neutronium Alchemist (The Night's Dawn)
The Neutronium Alchemist continues the story begun in The Reality Dysfunction. It's a great epic science-fiction story. The same things I said in my review of The Reality Dysfunction, apply. Although the character I mentioned there, was more likeable in this book (and the next). There was less fooling around and more serious action. If you liked the first book, you'll like this one!

Naked God (Nights Dawn Trilogy 3)
The third book of the Night's Dawn trilogy didn't disappoint. The stakes are raised even higher in this book and you really want to keep on reading to see how the story will end. The ending wasn't the best (I would have liked more explanation), but it's satisfying enough. A great third part of the epic science-fiction story that this series is.

The Warded Man
This is a fantasy story that's quite different from most. It's part one in the series but it does end a bit. It really made me want to read more of the series! (I'm currently eagerly awaiting the next part). There are three main characters and the story is told from each of their viewpoints. They are all interesting. One thing happens to one of them, that I didn't like and wish had happened differently (won't spoil). The enemies and magic in this book are quite different from the usual, which I think makes for a refreshing change. A great debut novel by Peter V. Brett. If you like fantasy, I recommend you this book.

I got invited to test the new beta BookLikes so here is a post to tell me how it will look once I've posted it.
In terms of reading, I have finished reading Promises, Promises by Erica James. The next book I will read, may be The Wheel of Time 12: The Gathering Storm by Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson or Café Tropicana by Belinda Jones. Or maybe a whole other book! I have a magazine to read too, I will probably read that first I think.
